Are you interested in becoming a beekeeper?  Would you like to buy bees?

Abello Bees specializes in Arizona adapted hives.  CAUTION: unless you purchase a consult from one of our expert beekeepers, we don't recommend you purchase hives from another state only to have them die in the Arizona summer.  Abello Bees will sell you bees that know how to handle the heat.

We will help you install your bees as well as teach you how to take care of them.

We also sell bee hive boxes if you need them.

We will sell you bees from out of state but we HIGHLY recommend you sign up for our subscription service to have us take care of them, or hire us for a consult to make certain your new bees survive.

We recommend these beekeeping supplies if you are just getting started:

Important Information About Your Bees

Please note that feral (wild) honey bees are living, free-moving colonies and cannot be guaranteed to remain on your property.

Whether a colony stays depends on several factors, including:

  • Availability of shade

  • Access to water

  • Abundant forage (flowers and food sources)

  • Proper hive placement and ongoing maintenance

Even under ideal conditions, bees may choose to relocate naturally.

Timing matters. Installing bees during cold to moderate temperatures (typically 40°F–low 95°F) generally results in better outcomes. Relocations performed during extreme heat (100°F+) can increase stress on the colony and reduce the likelihood of them settling successfully.

Colony strength and temperament also play a role. Larger, hardier colonies tend to adapt better to environmental stress; however, more resilient bees are often naturally more defensive.

While we cannot guarantee that a colony will remain permanently, locally sourced feral bees typically adapt better than out-of-state hives and have a stronger chance of successfully establishing on your property.

Keep in mind we personally install these bees for you, so this comes with a mandatory conultation included in the purchase.
